The project is located near the center of Asse, a growing hub of cultural institutions. Enhancing the existing urban landscape, the building connects to a chapel protected for its heritage value, framing it with its functional and L-shaped volumetric layout, thus completing the block.

A slight setback at the corner of the block creates an atrium that marks the public entrance and connects the street with the restored cloister garden. The pastel-colored façade echoes the tones of the adjacent heritage building. In this way, the project not only highlights the heritage but also integrates the previously closed block into the surrounding urban fabric.

A covered gallery guides visitors, along the interior of the garden, towards the library and cultural center.

The facades respond to two very different contexts. Towards the interior courtyard, a serene and open elevation of prefabricated square concrete elements establishes a neutral backdrop for daily activity.

Both facades feature a layered system of deep structures: large square openings and a subtle rhythmic delineation. The combination of concrete, soft-toned ceramic pieces, and elegant blue woodwork gives the campus its identity: robust in its structure, delicate in its color, and articulated in its proportions.

Inside, two parallel circulation paths branch off from the central lobby, connecting workshops, rehearsal rooms, and shared spaces.

Transparent display cases, exhibition walls and spacious landings transform the passage through the building into a sequence of places for lounging, observing and exhibiting works.
